Weaning: EBF with CMPA, what do I use as a cooking ingredient?

We are starting to wean my son, who has been EBF and has a CMP and soy allergy. A lot of recipes call for cows milk, can oat milk be used as an alternative? I’ve read they can’t have cow/oat milk as a drink until they are 12 months. Is that the same for cooking? Or would I need to use breast milk? Thanks for help!

You can use any milk substitute (that hes not allergic to) in cooking/for desserts it doesnt actually have to be cooked, just not as a main drink until 1 year. Oat milk is the best alternative I believe, although it's a little trial and error. My son is df and sf and we use oat milk. X

thank you! because he is breastfed i’ve swapped to oat milk and it’s not given him any reactions, so hopefully that will be ok!
