Cmpa!

Ever since my son was born he has been on formula I started with trying every single fornula u could think of weve tried regular formulas like similiac (the liquid bottles), enfamil , enfamil gentle lease , good start than the more sensitive formulas simiilac hypoallergenic formula and now we are finally at nutrimigen and neonate the doctor finally confirmed he has a cmpa or cmpi! In which he might out grow but being I have a lactose intolerance I know this might not be possible does anyone else have a baby with cmpa? When it came to one year how did u go about switching to milk what milk did you switch to?sorry for all the questions ftm here! Just want to know what’s going to be best for my chunky monkey

There is also something called the milk ladder where you build up exposure to milk products. The allergist told us about it but I'm not sure if it's an option in all cases. Something you could ask the healthcare provider about.

@Cindy yes the doctor told me to try this formula for the next 4 months than move right back to a regular dairy formula than if he does well on this we could try 3% milk and if he doesn’t agree with ethier it would be a lactose or dairy free alternative!
