Thrills aren’t the same

Does anyone else just feel more scared to do things after having kids? I used to be such a thrill seeker and honestly I went on this lame rollercoaster recently and ended up with a headache. I also went too high on the swings and felt my stomach drop 😂 I never understood why my mom said she used to dive and do so much until she had kids but now I totally get it. I’m still down to go cliff jumping though!

@Khara I used to do so much crazy stuff, like I’d probably stick my foot out the balcony just to scare my mom 😂 and yeah same I get vertigo when I’m up a bit high with my kids 😂😂😂

Yess

I’m pregnant with my first and even before I got pregnant I related to this. When I was a kid I was such a thrillseeker—rollercoasters especially were my thing! I went to an amusement park for the first time in a few years last last Halloween and I was terrified!!! Lol I think it’s only going to get worse after my kid is born! But I still wanna go to the amusement park!!! Lol

When I was pregnant I started some minor doomsday prepping lol. I think it is normal. I still love thrills but have a harder time getting them these days

I think it's more an age thing than having kids. You have to figure out more logistics like who's watching the kids which makes it harder, but I think our bodies also can't take things like when we're younger.
