They can stay over if you're in a side room but not if you're in a bay. If you're having twins though I would imagine they'll put you in a side room so that you can have someone to help you out. I'd ask your midwife though as they will know best x
I think with twins you’ll have your own room so he should be allowed! Xx
My partner couldn’t stay on the ward after my c section but the person initially in the bed next to me had twins and was moved to a side room so that her partner could stay
If you're in your own room then he will be allowed to stay, i had just had my c section and was put in a room with other women and was told no one was allowed to stay with me overnight which I personally thought was absurd! Then asked for my own room, was told there wasn't one, only for the nurse to come back and say there was a room available. So basically if you have your own room then yes your husband will be allowed to stay with you :)
Thanks everyone! Hopefully they’ll give me a room then 😅 I can’t imagine being on my own at night with two babies.. I know they’ll be midwife’s but I’d rather have my partner with me x
I had twins in November at Jessops via c section and they put me in a room no question at all. Stayed for just short of a week and my husband stayed the whole time with us.
I had my LO in March 2022. Had my own room and my partner was still not allowed to stay with me. I believe they are allowed in Chesterfield x
Ive recently had triplets at Jessops and had a c section. My partner was allowed to stay, I would recommend getting an air bed or something though as mine slept with just a pillow on the floor. They’re very understanding I can’t see it being a problem your partner staying xx
I had my partner stay over I was in a side room tho and was in for five days after my c section x
Theyre not allowed to stay overnight unless there's extenuating circumstances x
