Pain when passing bowels 10 days post C section
I had a planned c section 10 days ago, the recovery has been going well. However the last two days I’ve noticed I get pain in my tummy on the right hand side that feels like cramping when my preparing to open my bowels and for about 10 minutes after.
I’m worried that I’m getting this pain now, 10 days on? Is this because I have started to nit back together?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated, thanks!

I had this pain from about day 10-21 post op, I put it down to the internal incision healing back together and also the fact I was moving more so was working my abdominal muscles a little more than usual. I contacted my midwife at the time and she said you can get some pains following as it is a major op but didn’t seem to worried as i wasn’t super uncomfortable it just felt odd, but I’d recommend speaking to your GP or midwife if you’re worried!
Yes I spoke to my midwife yesterday and she wasn’t too worried either. Thanks for the advice I will keep a close eye on it, seeing her again on Monday.
