Not felt baby move since this morning

How long should I wait until I call the maternity unit? I am 24 weeks and I felt her moving this morning at around 10.30/11am but haven’t since. I did have a nap this afternoon for a couple hours but she is usually kicking away after I have eaten and she hasn’t today. I’m aware I have an anterior placenta so not sure if that has anything to do with it but I have been consistently feeling her move since around 18 weeks. I’m about to eat dinner in around 20 minutes and see if that works but I’m not sure if I should call up anyway about her reduced movements or not?

Personally I would call!!! I have a doppler, so check on mine that way, if shes been a bit quiet, but I know they're not recommended as a diagnosis tool, and I was always against them until I had extreme stress and was so scared the stress would kill her!!! At least they can do necessary tests, and make sure baby is OK. I was really not feeling good one day, and they did all sorts of tests and bloods. It's definitely reassuring, although it is a hassle to have to trek into hospital!!

It won’t hurt to call if you are worried. Definitely try very cold water or a fizzy drink though as it can help get them moving x

I had called the other night the recommended cold water then laying on my left side. In which I had did and baby still hadn’t budged and I called back and they took me straight in. Any worries at all just call them. I always just tell myself better safe than sorry! I couldn’t sit with my doubts and worries for much longer I was working myself up about it, all was ok thankfully but defo best to check just to reinsure yourself! X
