Something less fuss, comfy and easy to wear. T shirt dress with front buttons was for me so I could have my babies close to my body at anytime
I took clothes and pj’s and I didn’t wear any of the clothes 😂 I ended up going home in my pj’s, I could barely walk so I couldn’t give two fucks 😂😂 I started out in the water bath and only wore a bra, but I know some people feel more comfortable being more covered
Don't take your best, fancy pj's! Buy something cheap that you don't mind getting blood on but can also easily access for skin to skin on your chest/breast feeding. Disposable knickers! And some comfy clothes for the daytime, if you want to get dressed, should you have to stay in. I ended up staying a week as baby wasn't very well.
I took a nightie to labour in but ended up in a hosp gown then pjs for after which (sorry if TMI) got pretty covered in blood so don’t be a twat and buy new ones like I did 😂 x
One comfy outfit to go home in - joggers, hoodie. Short pyjamas because you may as well be on an all inclusive holiday in the Bahamas with the heat in post natal suites
Oodies are great for both winter and summer. I will 100% be taking my Oodie sleeping tee with me to the hospital because it’s so large, so light and breathable.
Right, well for myself I bought super soft pjs because my sister told me about how sore your nipples can get from breastfeeding at first. So I bought a new pair of beautifully soft pjs from target, good decision and then I brought one outfit to go home in, a floaty dress and nursing bra. I gave birth in September and it wasn’t cold then so no jacket. But yeah you don’t need much, just be cozy! I think if you have to stay in the hospital for an extended period unexpectedly your husband/boyfriend can go get more stuff for you.
