Loosing mucus plug + strep B

Looking for some advise! I think I have lost my mucus plug and I’m also a carrier of group b strep. I’ve never really been worried about testing positive for strep B as I’ve always been told I’d just be popped on antibiotics in labour. However tonight I’ve read something online about the mucus plug protecting the baby and bacteria can reach them if you loose it. Can anyone confirm this?! Xx

If they are concerned, they'll put baby on antibiotics. My daughter was exposed for 25 hours from my waters breaking and she was put on antibiotics and had no complications or any issues ❤️

I carry strep B and i’ve lost my mucus plus with all 3 of my prem kiddies way before birth and none of my consultants were concerned during labour you go on antibiotics and then they test baby for strep when they are a couple hours old. Unfortunately due to the fact i’m allergic to most antibiotics i have anticbiotic resistant strep B so i have the drip and then once babies are born me and baby hve to have another 5 days of IV antibiotics

They do say that the mucus plug can grow back also x
