Depends on if they’re eating formula or breast milk. Our lactation consultant advised us not to go up in size for breast milk
I’m going to go up a size every 3 months 🤷♀️
@Jillian she’s doing both! She gets equally frustrated with both on a size 1 nipple but she’s only 6 weeks
When to up a size is when your LO will start smacking the bottle, not keeping the nipple in there mouth very long, or just taking awhile to eat. (That’s what my pediatrician said)
Have you tried changing the brand of the bottles?
@Kierra she’s used tommee tippee, dr browns and now Phillips avent and she seems to like Phillips the best

If she’s getting fussy it could mean she is frustrated and needs a faster flow.
