How much gas = “gassy”?

I’m considering changing formula for my LO (currently on Similac Total Care 360 and curious about the sensitive version). One of the benefits of the Sensitive version (and others like it) is that it claims it helps with gassiness. My LO has gas, but all babies (and adults!) do. How much is considered enough to warrant special formula? I combo feed and only ever used the formula they started him on in the hospital, but given his colicky nature I wonder if something else may make a difference..

Hey! My son is currently drinking Similac ready Feed. Once we tried him on The condensed version and he was in pain (((. So we just stuck W the ready Feed. Even soly BM he cab get bloated. For little. He does generally get gas at night. I rub his tummy, do the I Luv U massage & put a warm bottle on him. Im open to hear suggestions on how to help. Also I'll have him sleep on my chest for a while. For. Pressure but this is obviously rewarding and exhausting at the same time. New mom love 💙

Hi @Jennifer we switched to HIPP it’s a UK brand but it worked much better for our son than Bobbie did. They make a anti colic version we are going to try as well, my son is 5 weeks old and his colic is getting a little better. He doesn’t poop as much as I’d like…

We tried enfamil and similac. We preferred enfamil. Our baby was spitting up from both so we tried the gentle ease from enfamil and we found he digested that better
