Fighting with the doctors

Is it just me or have others really struggled with getting the doctors to listen and get the appointments needed?? Or is it just me

I feel as soon as I say it is my first child, they give me a knowing look like I'm wasting their time and I am just overly worrying ..... 🙄

@Ami Yeah even when I have taken other people I still get the whole ft mum thing x

Yes. My doctor has essentially told.me everything my son was experiencing was normal. It took him having physical blood in his diapers for her to finally listen and take me seriously. He still has symptoms but since the blood has stopped and he is gaining weight it's back to "oh that's normal." It is very frustrating!

Nope sadly it’s the norm. With my eldest I fought with the gp for months and in the end paid to go privately. The consultant was amazing and finally listened. With my second no one listened till he ended up in a and e and spent 6 weeks in hospital being stabilised for his reflux and allergies 🤦🏼‍♀️ with my third and forth I didn’t give them any chance to talk and just told them what I wanted and it worked, but it shouldn’t be that way x

We was told over and over my little one just had colic and was worrying it was more because we are ftp. Fought and fought for someone to take on all her symptoms. We now have a happy (most if the time) little lady after starting her on nutramigen.
