Progesterone suppository’s

I’ve been offered progesterone to take when I get a positive pregnancy test under the instruction of the recurrent miscarriage clinic. I had a positive pregnancy last month but unfortunately once again I went on to lose it. I ovulated this month a little bit later than usual but I’ve been doing abit of research etc on progesterone studies etc. I’ve just decided to start taking progesterone 3 days past ovulation. It doesn’t come without its risks but I’m at the point now I’ve lost 4 babies I’ve got nothing else to lose. Has anyone else done the same?

I was under a private fertility clinic and they say to do it 3 days after ovulation anyway. Iv done it with all my cycles. They give quite cruel side effects though so what I will say is don't read to much into them as possible pregnancy symptoms. For example gassy , sore boobs/ nipples, bloating , making you wee 100 times a day etc. X

I was offered the progesterone suppositories after 7 miscarriages, I was told to start them as and when I was trying to conceive not once I was pregnant I'm presuming the progesterone needs to be your system for the egg to implant and grow etc. I was on them for 3 months before I fell on then increased the dosage which lead to a healthy pregnancy and baby at the end which I never thought would happen. Are you taking the suppositories or injection?

I just started progesterone suppositories this cycle 3DPO (late ovulation, miscarriages and short luteal phase) and am currently 10DPO. Lots of symptoms as Amy described but my doctor said to wait until 18 DPO and to continue testing for pregnancy prior to stopping using them.
