Just over 24 hours but I had gestational diabetes so had to stay in for at least 24 hours anyways. I believe it is at least 1 night they keep you in for though because you'll have a catheter in for about 12 hours x

I was in for 1 night, about 30 hours total but I didn't have an actual booked appointment, they just told me to go in early on the day and they'd fit me in in-between other bookings.

A week with my son and 2 days with my daughter, was only a week with my son as they had to run tests but after my daughter hearing test I was free to go home x

i had my baby at 22:30 and went home 20:00 the next day

I was in for for 5 days. Arrived at 7:30am and went into surgery at 11:30. Baby was born at like midday. I was then in recovery until midnight and then they moved me up to the ward. But both me and my baby had some minor complications that meant we had to stay for the week

6 days but that was for feeding issues. They said I was medically fine to go home the day after my section, even though I didn’t feel well enough, so was glad to stay in longer

Just over 24 hours for me too

I would have been home the next day but baby wasn’t latching so turned into a 3 night stay. I had her at 10:12 on the Wednesday, catheter out around 5ish and up and walking shortly after that. Didn’t manage to wee until 1am but by the following morning I felt great so they would have let me go then. But because I was having to syringe feed baby and she wouldn’t latch at all, I couldn’t go. I didn’t get home until 9pm Saturday so 4 days in total. Baby still wasn’t latching and being syringe fed but I needed to get home.

48 hours xx

1 night after each of my kids x

8 days but was emergency section

I had c section at 5.20pm and I was home late the next evening

Just over 24 hours

I over heard a pre op and they told the mum she would be out within 8 hours x

24 hours x

24 hours

Had my sun 1915 so stayed that night then requested to stay another as didn't feel good enough to leave xx

I was in for 2 nights, baby was born at 7pm so I stayed in recovery for a night and then 1 night on the maternity ward. To be fair though I have type 1 diabetes so both me and baby had to be monitored for 24 hours anyway to check that our blood sugar levels were stable :) x

2 nights and 3 days. No complications, they just didn’t think I was ready to go home. I was very immobile.

Just under 24hours for me

I had my son 5th of May in the morning and by the early afternoon 6th I was home 😌

Next day

I was in at 6am, had my daughter at 11am and then was discharged at 3pm the following day x

Had the baby at 13:30, discharged the next day at 6pm X
