Good luck😘♥️♥️♥️♥️

I took a crossword 😂😂

Good luck mama! 🥰 Do you mind sharing the reason why your being induced? I'm due on the 4th of June and have been told I may get induced this week but haven't been given a reason yet! x

Good luck ♥️🙏🏼

Good luck, I hope all goes well for you lovely 🥰 xx

Good luck!! What made them want to induce?? Xxx

I’m being induced due to reduced fetal movements on multiple occasions and she dropped from 50th centile to 10th in my last scan xx

I’m also 39+1 xx

Good luck hunny! Only advice is, don't be afraid to speak your mind. If you want pain meds or even a section then tell them. I've had a few friends who were induced and wished they spoke up sooner.. but you've got this! ❤️

Good luck! X

Good luck! Xx

Good luck 🤍

Take a handheld fan if you can 🙌 Good luck! I was induced in Feb and had a really positive experience x

Loads! I see them every day at work!

If you wanted a water birth and feel like you’ve lost the option, ask if there is a high risk birth pool available and take it! They should have wireless monitors for you 🤞🏻 I found the water such a relief for my induction!

Something I never saw on hospital bag lists was a portable fan (I took a stroller fan). When I had to push I was sweating and puking so bad the fan was a life saver

Good luck! Keep us posted with any updates on how it’s going 👀 I’m getting induced tomorrow morning and I’m so nervous 😬 xx

I went in for my induction at 37+3, had to have two pessary’s and have been on the waiting list to have my waters broken for 48 hours now. I was induced due to being high risk with reduced movements and small baby expected. I would say take plenty to occupy you incase it doesn’t go as straight forward as planned, and ry your best to keep reminding yourself you’ll be leaving with your perfect little baby! I’ve found it really tough to see 7 other women in my ward be induced, have their babies and leave while I’m still waiting! Xx

I’m in hospital now having been induced this afternoon 😊 what form of induction are they giving you if you don’t mind sharing @Emily? X

@Kayleigh - gel induction xx

Depends on how you’re induced and how receptive your body is to it. Take snacks, drinks (and enjoy them before they say you can’t have anything!), something to focus on/do. Get plenty of rest where you can. Once your induction starts you might not be able to move around too much etc. I was induced at 40wks with my first and refused the epidural (little bitch when it comes to needles in my spine 😂). The induction process itself was quick - drip started and baby was out in just under 4hrs, so very hard and fast (which is not the norm as you can be in labour for quite some time being induced). We did require other interventions during the labour process but it wasn’t due to the induction itself. Best of luck mama!

Definitely take things to occupy yourself. I started the induction process on Saturday and still no sign. Having books and card games have been a life saver xx

I found an eye mask to sleep with and my water bottle so helpful when i was staying in the hospital for my induction ! Congratulations so exciting knowing your going finally see your baby 😍

So far so good…!
