My sickness kicks more in the evening, this makes my evenings rough and gives me anxiety before bed making it hard for me to sleep. Is it okay that my sickness is worse in the evenings ? Im single with very little support :’( so thank you for all hearing me out <3

Me tooooooooooo!!!!!! Sometimes it wakes me up from my sleep

Don’t suffer lovey speak to your GP who will give you anti sickness. If they don’t work tell them they’ll prescribe another type, there’s things out there to help you 💗 things that helped me before it got too much and I needed tablets where… travel sickness bands, ginger biscuits, nibbling the bite sized marshmallows, bagel before bed, milk

Mine is. It is horrid

Mine is also worse in the evening/over night. I haven’t had sickness, it’s just nausea, but still not very nice!

@Lucy I’ve been told not to bother my GP and wait ages before I see any medical professional. I’ve had so little support from the NHS and my local GP. I don’t even know how I’m meant to feel safe :/ I feel so alone

@Chloe yeah not really being sick just that awful feeling with the bloating aha. Just had a lemon ice pop though and it did settle me a little 🥰

@Georgina call your local maternity unit. They normally manage hyperemesis if you're getting nowhere with your gp. The midwives are excellent at it! Xx

My sickness has been awful since 6 weeks. I waited until 10 weeks until I couldn’t take it anymore it was really debilitating . I have been prescribed odasatron from my gp( I think thats how it’s spelt) and has hugely helped me! I’m now able to eat and keep food down and go out places without wanting to be sick at every smell and sight of food.

Thank you all guys <3 definitely going to try and get in touch with my GP again tomorrow <3

Yeah I had HG during my pregnancy and it started out nausea all day then sick just before bed, then was being sick from first thing multiple times throughout the day, then when it calmed down again it was back to just at night. I had 3 different types of antisickness meds and they didn’t take mine away completely but if it’s is just worse at night then it might help. Like others have said contact ur GP and explain that ur not coping and it’s stressing u out for going to bed and affecting ur sleep. If they can’t/won’t/don’t help if contact the pregnancy unit at ur hospital and ask for help from them. Make sure u are drinking lots throughout the day and after being sick cause u don’t want to get dehydrated. Ice lollies/poles count as liquid so even try that, it soothes ur throat too when ur sick. You can do this 👍🏻
