Ahh congratulations on knowing the date @Lexy,

My friend is booked in in aug and the only thing different to the vaginal birth list was she was told to have clothes for her and baby for 5 days and didn’t need the cooling pads etc. Good luck!! 🩵

@Trudie thank you!! I was starting to panic that it was gona be left too late🤦🏽‍♀️

@Jess ah that’s good to know! I was thinking if anyone had things that might help with the pain but to be honest I don’t really want to be touching the wound anyway! Will definitely now be overpacking haha. Thank you 🥰🤍

@Ioana thank you darling 🤍

Have a look at the freidamom c section recovery stuff, I’ve heard loads of good about the vaginal stuff but saw on boots and amazon they have support belts and patches that are supposed to help section recovery xx

@Jess ah great! Didn’t know they also did section recovery bits. Gona have a look now thank you xxx

The best people are born on 18th July! That’s my birthday too! ☺️🤭🎉 x

@Holli awww happy birthday for then! 🤣🥰

Congratulations 🥰 please share the experience if you don’t mind after and good luck with it all x

@Lexy im being induced 20th ish so prob see you in the hospital 😂❤️

You need to get the scar masks for your scar I’ll attach now xx

@melissia I maybe induced in august now too. Are you worried it’s going to be more painful than natural labour as I’ve been told it can be? X

Congratulations @Lexy Exciting! X

@Trudie I have no choice unfortunately due to lots of high risk complications so compared to what I’ve been through the pain will be Nothing, had to have 2 open surgeries whilst pregnant and awake no pain relief. 😅🥹😂 Inductions are fine , much better to try do it naturally & worst case would be c section anyway you’ll be fine. Loads my friends had them and no problems just get the epidural in early. Push for it at 4cm dilated xxxx

@Andriana thank you lovely🥰 will do! X

@melissia ooo I might see you haha! Ah yes been looking into those so will defo get them xx

@Gems thank you! Yes very excited that I now have a date to work towards xx

@melissia omg bless you, yea that’s going to be a walk in the park then for you, yea I’m going to try natural before c section I think, but being induced would put some anxiety of getting there and that will calm it down x

@Trudie just try and relax and trust your body we are made to do this and there is no going back so more you relax more you’ll enjoy it. I know with anxiety it’s hard but breathe she has to come out x

@melissia yea I have to believe I can do it and I’m Sure I will, she’s got to get here some way x

Put everything you'll need at arm level, so no bending. For example in the shower... towel over the rail, shampoo/gel on the sink. I bought a range of pads... always discreet, maternity pads, always night/ultra. To be honest my pp bleeding was a lot lighter than I expected so it was nice to have a selection and pick. (I hated waddling around in maternity pads)

@Vicky wow you life saver! Thank you so much for this! X
