Cramping 6 weeks 3 days. Paranoid or should I call?

I had an ultrasound at five and a half weeks that showed yolk sac tiny fetal pole. Measured to the correct day. But no heartbeat :(. But I’m on progesterone and terrified I’ll have a mmc because of the meds. Anyway today I am cramping a lot. Not super painful but it’s freaking me out. I have an ultrasound on Friday. I’m praying we get to see a heartbeat but so scared and the cramping is making me so paranoid. Is it normal or a sign the worst is happening.

Honestly cramping this early is normal, but that’s what your doctor is there for! Don’t feel bad calling for reassurance or whatever you may need 🩷 to see a yolk sac that early and no heartbeat is normal too!

Can I ask, what made you have a scan at 5weeks?

I'm sure everything will be OK, cramps are normal 👌

@Kate I have a history of mc and recently had an iud removed so we didn’t know if I was 5 or 6 weeks

I have been preg 4 times but only have one living kiddo

@Kelsey ahh I'm sorry to hear that, I'm on my 3rd pregnancy currently 8wks 6days and no current babies just yet.

@Kate I bet this is your rainbow! I’m praying I only feel the way I do bc of my anxiety but the cramps and not seeing a heartbeat yet really has me stressed about baby

Cramping is completely normal throughout the first trimester. I had pretty bad cramping on and off through the first and beginning of the second. It's stressful after miscarriages, I get that completely I am on my 5th pregnancy). Just know that it's normal..
