I had 2 s&s. First was a ‘fail’ as she couldn’t reach my cervix… 2nd was done at 40+2 and baby arrived 30ish hours later, but the midwife said it could take about 24 hours for anything to happen. The morning after i got up and walked the dog for about an hour and tried to stay upright to let gravity help. I didn’t have any bleeding the day of… I started getting pains (which were contractions) about 3pm which gradually became more frequent and intense and by 11:24pm baby was born. My advice would be to not overdo it but try and walk and potter about! Good luck 🤞🏻 xx
First on due date - lost mucous plug a few days later. Second at 41 weeks - started getting period type pains, Braxton hicks/contractions and bloody show. Then 3 nights of regular contractions that slowed/stopped during the day. Baby was born on 41+4.
I've done several on other people that have worked! Cramping is a good sign! Even if you don't go into labour from it it will almost certainly shorten the induction process!
