Haven't felt baby move yet

Hey I'm 20 weeks pregnant and I'm not positive I've felt baby move yet. I can feel rumbling near my rib cage like I'm hungry could that be baby? I know they say wait until 24 weeks before you tell your midwife but me and my partner tried 6 years to get this far.

I didn’t feel baby until 23 weeks :)

Depending on what type of placenta you have (anterior etc) that could delay you feeling baby movement It’s common to not feel much or consistent movements until 28 weeks ❤️ I know the wait is hard, but you’ll get there ❤️

I didn’t feel anything until 24 weeks, it is just different for everyone. Hang in there because once you do start to feel it’s amazing ❤️

Thanks everyone I feel so much better now 😊❤

I didn't feel baby move until almost 22 weeks my Placenta was at front. X

It all depends on where your placenta is. It took slightly past 20 weeks to actually start feeling my youngest moving as the placenta was at the front. With my eldest, i felt movements from 19 weeks. Baby is still around the belly button area so definitely won't be baby that you are feeling in your ribcage just everything stretching and moving out the way

You will definitely know when you feel them move, it’s such a strange but awesome feeling. It’s normal, especially with your first baby, for it to take a bit longer 😊

I wasn't sure if I was feeling baby or not, I thought it was gas bubbles lol! The timing didn't help cause she wakes up about 20 minutes after I eat (which makes sense) so I thought it was digestion and wishful thinking. A tech at my OB told me at 19 weeks that any movement below the bellybutton is most likely baby because your organs are all getting squished as the baby grows and are likely higher up now. After that I started understanding the difference better, though it could still be a few weeks for you, as others have said. It's also possible that your baby is moving when you are, or when you're sleeping. I'm 22 weeks and just now noticing her move during the day sometimes, but she's much more active after 10 or 11 pm for me. When I lay down for bed suddenly she's a kickboxing tornado 🌪️

I have an anterior placenta and didn't feel my little one move u till around 22 weeks 🥰

I was 24 weeks when I felt flutters 🙏🥰 Hang in there mama

I didnt feel baby move until around 25 weeks. I had an anterior placenta

I felt mine at 22/23 weeks

I didn’t feel mg baby move till about 25 weeks , and I also never had those massive movements that make people’s tummy’s move and limbs press out sides , I had an anterior placenta…. I could feel his feet right under my rib cage all the time though 😂

I would have to poke and prod to feel my daughter, she slept a lot and spent most of her time in my back so I would have to make her angry or drink coffee to her her to move 🙃

I was around 24 weeks or so as well with the placenta in the front. Wouldn't stress you'll feel baby soon :-)

I also struggled for years 2 have my little one so was like when will she kick etc. Had friend who at 17 wks felt her little one kick but that was her 2nd baby and they say after 1st baby u may feel others sooner than 20wks but my friend would also be very slik where i wouldnt so think that maybe 2 why took longer to feel. Once all scans are shpwing baby move, heartbeat etc then thats good. Try lie dowm and ice cold water helps baby move so may feel kick then
