When to use bio oil on scar?
I’m almost 4 weeks PP, when can I start using bio oil on my scar? Also I usually use hair removal cream (woo woo) down there would it be safe yet?

I'd wait until your 6 weeks postpartum appointment and ask your Dr
Wait the 6 weeks at least and ask a professional :) if you mean you'd be applying hair removal cream to an episiotomy scar I would also wait to ask your GP as I think it does say to not use on weak scars?
When it came to hair removal i shaved around and I had my partner use his beard trimmer on the scar, it felt so weird but I was scared to shave it for a while xx
I am 4 weeks pp and started using the oil, try on small area to see if you have any reaction like burning, if not go ahead or wash it off in the shower. My scar healed fine and no infections so I just started using it too.
I’d think if the wound is completely closed and already healing it’s time to start with bio oil! Which btw I loooove bio oil for scars and stretch marks! Now the hair removal stuff…that I’m not sure about. I guess as long as it’s not touching the scar at all it would be ok. But not entirely sure cause hair removal cream tends to be very chemical.
