Yep, getting up too quickly is a problem for me! I’m just staying hydrated and snacking lots x
Litres and litres of water a day. I keep getting told I have low blood pressure before my midwife appointments when they're in the morning. Arranging them for afternoon helps x
thats defo not ‘normal’ though, to have it that low youre fainting? i feel like you shouldnt be fainting and being told its normal hun x
Drink plenty and eat plenty x
Thank you all x
I am the same, I’ve had this in and off for 10 weeks now. Mine comes with the most awful headaches I’ve ever known and causes severe nausea too. I keep getting told the same as what everyone else is saying… ‘drink and eat small meals regularly’ I totally feel for you.
Has this only started since pregnancy? Cos if it was also before pregnancy it could be POTS potentially!
Yeah only just started since I hit 2nd trimester x
I had my 20 week scan today and was asked about blood pressure. Said I'd always had low blood pressure and she was like it's fine, pregnancy is about the only time having low blood pressure is good as it lowers the risk of pre-eclampsia, which is one of the things they were checking for. Hopefully it eases for you, and maybe your midwife can advise further x
Make sure you're eating enough and not wearing too many layers. It's getting worse for me too but if I try to cool myself down immediately and sit down, it helps.
