I had a pool birth in Chesterfield, I'm not sure on any statistics or anything but they offered it me straight away back in December and there was no wait to be able to use one
I had one in chesterfield, I was told I couldn’t have one at jessops, chesterfield were bloody incredible, the room is actually huge and so is the pool is constantly controlled with the temp so you’re never cold and honestly I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else
I’m also wanting a water birth in chesterfield- though Ive heard September can be quite busy. 🫣 I hope I get it.
Sounds promising either way. Jessops have added to their number of pools by the sounds of it. Chesterfield I used to do some work at and always liked as a hospital. Thanks for sharing experiences ladies x
I think Jessops has 3. I asked my midwife this question and she said you'll always get a pool, when I was there in Feb I was the only person in a pool. There are more people giving birth in Jessops but a lot of them have to give birth in Jessops due to complications so they won't be eligible for a pool.
