I’m in the US so can’t speak to eligibility. But I went to IVF after having 2 miscarriages, one that was a a confirmed chromosomally abnormal one. I did genetic testing on the embryos and we transferred our highest graded normal embryo (5AA which is one of the best grades you can get) and I unfortunately just miscarried that yesterday at 7w5d after everything looked amazing at the beginning. I’m starting to think there’s something else at play that is causing me to not hold a pregnancy, even though I had a completely normal and easy pregnancy with my son in 2020.
When we were going for IVF we were told that if either of us had a child from a previous relationship we wouldn’t be able to have IVF on the NHS, we live in the North West so maybe the rules are slightly different and that was 3 years ago, they may have changed the criteria since.
