Had Hyperemisis til about 6 7 months pregnant so I know how you feel! You’ll find that when you are sick you get temporary relief from the constant FEELING of sickness! And for me I tried everything under the sun - natural remedies such as ginger etc and 3 different types of medication. Natural remedies didn’t help at all. As far as medication goes - my one piece of advice is: it is NOT ok to take medication and still feel so so bad. Ok I’m not saying its like taking magic pills and all will be dandy but you should deffo get relief. So give a medication a couple to 3 days to work if it doesn’t. Get on your dr’s case and he can either change it / up the dose / or recommend a combination. For example some people swear by cyclizine. It didn’t do anything for me. For me it was a combination of prochlorperazine and metoclopramide that worked a little. Also This is temporary :) there is light at the end of the tunnel no matter how long their period feels and how slow time moves 😊 x

My doctors are useless, when you call you gave to wait 10 days to even get a call back, iv had cyclzine but did nothing, tried ginger and all natural stuff, nothing, when did it let up for you?

For me was diagnosed with Hyperemisis Gravidarum which can be diff for everyone - got easier around the 5 month mark but was still throwing up one / two times until about 6 and a half months? Before that it was 5 - 8 times a day! Sip of water - puke! Piece of fruit - puke! The only thing that wasnt coming back out as quickly was for some ODD reason plain margharita pizzas from dominos 😂 I was also with veryyy bad docs at the beginning but i checked what other gps were in my catchment area and changed and it was sliiightly better - i wasnt waiting on the phone 40 mins just to get through to a receptionist that would then tell me have you tried the doctorin online system 🤦🏻‍♀️ I think exaggerate when you call too? If you’ve thrown up one or twice say its 5 times already today - say you are dehydrated and can’t keep water down and starting to feel dizzy when you get up and your vision just goes black. Say you havent been to work in a couple weeks and no ones with you at home to take

Care of you, and that its so bad you cant even go grab something to eat or get a sip of water from the kitchen sometimes! Just exaggerate til they see you or you get through to a dr and do the same thing with the dr and say cyclizine has done NOTHING for you taking it or not doesnt make a difference and that your friends had a similar experience and was prescribed the combo i mentioned - hopefully he’ll switch up the meds and it’ll be ok? Lets up for most around the 4 - 5 month mark even with Hyperemisis so fingers crossed for u! X
