I’ve been prescribed it when I was 10 weeks pregnant due to twins. It’s to prevent preeclampsia
Yes I have been prescribed 150mg per day. Make sure to take it with or after food or you’ll get horrible stomach cramps. I take it with my evening meal
I am pregnant via IVF and was on 75mg from the moment we were doing another cycle, after 12 weeks they also asked me to double it due to family history of blood clots. No harm in an aspirin a day xx I’m 37.
I'm on 150mg a day as my mum had pre-eclampsia with me x
I’m 32 with a history of miscarriage and now with an IVF twin pregnancy and I’ve been on 85mg of aspirin and blood thinning injections (among other things) to reduce my miscarriage risk and my risk of preeclampsia since we did our embryo transfer. I’m currently 11 weeks pregnant And will be on both for the foreseeable future X
Me too! It’s really common and nothing to worry about. It’s a preventative thing, so I am all for preventing Pre Eclampsia!! (Or at least reducing the risk). I’ve been prescribed the dissolvable ones and they don’t really taste of anything so it’s easy to take daily x
Yes I do as my papp a is low, I take 150mg every evening
Yup I'm on it too for my BMI
I've been prescribed it because both my girls were low birth rate
I was prescribed it but I don't know why. Choosing not to take it
@Zahra if you're prescribed it, it's very important you do. It's for low birth weight, low papp a, pre eclampsia, prevents early birth...
Absolutely if there is history of high blood pressure or pre-eclampsia you will be told to take aspirin. Please please take it as its a blood thinner it will also keep clotting at bay, i didn't take mine every day and now have a clot x
