Glucose test?!
I’ve been told I need to take 17! Energy tablets before my blood test. To me this seems excessive when the packaging says not to take more than one every 20 mins. I get really bad palpitations if I eat to much sugar or caffeine so I’m quite worried about taking 17 tablets.

Never heard of this before. Commonly you fast from midnight like Shanice said. They finger prick and take bloods, then you drink the drink and a cup of water directly after, then wait for 2 hours and they take bloods again. Id ask about that if it was me xx
Nope, mine was at the hospital, I had to fast from 10pm night before. They took blood. I drunk the glucose drink in the room straight after waited 2 hours. They tested blood again x
I fasted, had bloods drawn then drank the ick, waited 2 hours and had blood drawn again.
17 Energy tablets ?!? I wouldn’t. I would suggest for them to review their test method.
