6 weeks. Until I could emergency stop. X
6 weeks x
About 3 weeks for me. I got in my parked car and would pretend like I'm driving then slam on the brakes. Once I could do it without pain and actually press the brake hard I started driving again
They said 6 weeks before I can be in the front seat (because of airbags, if air bag goes off it WILL rupture the wound and cause major problems.
I was told if you had an accident before six weeks, you’d be liable as driving before recommended
First time today at 6 weeks
Always check with your insurance company as they may have different time scales. I was 6 weeks with my first two sections and 9 weeks with my third
3 weeks
6 weeks as it could invalidate your insurance if you had an accident
6 weeks is advised

Ten days after C-section x
I drove 4 days after, my son got taken back into hospital with a brain infection & sepsis so I had no choice. Aslong as your confident and can perform an emergency stop you’ll be fine xx

I’m crazy I didn’t wait. I’m 19 weeks pp absolutely fine. But I guess its a bit dangerous so I wouldn’t follow my ways 😂
Two weeks according to doctor; I actually didn’t drive for more like four!
6 weeks for me. I didn’t feel comfortable enough x
I was 5wks, I probably could've driven sooner but was over cautious especially when I was now travelling with a baby x
My dr advised no driving if I was still taking pain meds or I couldn’t push the brake. We had a dr appointment at 3 weeks and I took a test drive around the neighborhood. I felt fine, so I drove us to the appointment. I didn’t know 6 weeks was suggested or anything about insurance. I would have went stir crazy sitting home with baby by myself for 6 weeks!
3 weeks
3 weeks- insurance said ask the doctor, doctor said whatever the insurance dictates. Spoke to the insurance again and they said as long as I can do an emergency stop it’s fine.
