I’m sorry for you loss. Your body may take time to ovulate again. Even once the bleeding has stopped your HCG can linger and you generally won’t start a period until your HCG reaches 0. This can take 3-6 weeks after you stop bleeding. The bleeding from the loss can’t be counted as a period. You may be on a totally different timeline period wise going forward. My first miscarriage, I didn’t start a period for 3 months but my second was 4.5 weeks
Definitely not a dumb question I'm in the same boat. I miscarried 8/28 as well with same symptoms and timeline you had. HCG neg after that week. Still nothing for me either. I'm thinking it just takes time like the others mentioned above. Stress from the MC likely won't help things either.
So sorry for your loss. I had an early loss 16th August and AF came 20th September so 5 weeks. But I'm not 100% sure if I had a chemical this month as I had a faint positive during tww but could have been wrong. If it was a chemical it means I would have been straight back to my normal 28 day cycle Everyone varies I think all you can do is take time to grieve and look after yourself. Test LH if you feel you want to so you know if you've ovulated
You need to give your body a little bit of time to regulate. More time if you were pregnant for longer. You can observe your HCG levels using pregnancy tests to see if the tests are mega already. You might get your normal period in 1.5 months to 3 months. It really depends on everyone’s body. Give it time to heal
