Collect the liquid in either a pad or a small container to take to the hospital. They will test it to confirm if it’s amniotic fluid or not!
Lots of movement asymmetrical if possible so walking up and down stairs and lunges. Look up acupressure induction points.
Castor oil is another good one that helped my stalled labor. My midwife mixed 2 oz castor oil with a small can of pineapple juice and some ice blended in a smoothie. Took about 3 hours then lots of diarrhea then labor started back up
I'm not sure you should have a bath if you think your waters have broken. I'm sure it's an infection risk. Definitely wear a pad to catch any liquid as they'll need to test it. Once my waters went they told me to walk around the hospital to progress things faster. The contractions were so bad I couldn't go far (I'd already been getting contractions for 2 days before my waters went) Relax in a dark/dim room, get as much rest as you can, do things you love as oxytocin starts it off, so music, reading, movies, cuddles etc
You do not have to be induced! You can monitor your temperature at home incase of infection if you are worried. They like to give you 24 hours to start naturally, but you can decline induction and wait until things happen. Stay at home and get your oxytocin flowing, eat your favourite foods, watch your favourite films, and try and nap as you can. The nhs used to say to wait up to 72 hours before they wanted to induce you, now that timeframe is getting smaller and smaller. The highest risk of infection is consenting to Vaginal Exams as you’re introducing something up inside of you. Do some things that make you feel happy and loved and I’m sure things will start happening! 😃

When my waters broke I had to go to the hospital to confirm it was my waters. When they confirmed it was they advised me to go home and wait and see if my labour started naturally within the 24 hours. For example my waters broke at half7 at night and nothing happened so I had to go back into hospital at half 7 the following night to get induced. I had gel inserted at 11pm at night and they told me to get some sleep as it will take a while for anything to happen. 30 minutes later I was getting so much pain and they checked and j was 5cm and at 9.45am I had my little girl x
