Epidural Pain

Day 1 and it’s been so magical ❤️ literally so incredibly hard but so worth it! I opted to get the epidural and surprisingly didn’t suffer because once you’ve had a biopsy in your neck, nothing needle wise is as painful. So anyways now I have a lot of pain on my left side (where most of the epidural was) when I stand or get up. (Think broken rib when you breathe, that pain) — Anyone else experience that? If so, what did you do that helped? How long did it last!

Congratulations on baby! I had that pain, unfortunately I don’t remember how long it lasted, but it felt terrible. Maybe about a week or so give or take I think.

Congratulations, I hope the pain goes away soon

Congratulations

Dad looks so proud 🥰🥰🥰

Congratulations 🎊 When I had an epidural I got back pain, it took a while for it to settle down its just where the needle went in and the muscle tissue around it is a little bruised inside. It took about a week before My back stopped hurting

It never stops hurting fully....nearly 16 years old, and I still suffer with back problems

mine took about a week with both..but found walking as soon as I could helped.. I have had back issues since my first baby.. currently with a chiropractor getting it sorted and it's really really helping.. congratulations! xx

My epidural pain after labor was super bad about 6 hours after birth i had to get one oxycodone pill with a 500mg ibuprofens every 4-6 hours for about 3 days. On day 2 i was just super sore almost felt like a fat bruise went away after about 7 days.

I didn’t have any pain after birth.
