I didn’t hear a heart beat until 12 weeks I literally thought I was going to die . . . .
How big did the sac and/or baby measure?
I used to Flo app and my dates weren’t as accurate as I thought they were off by around 10 days, I heard a heart beat at 6+2 days - it could be that your app is out too, it’s not 100% accurate especially if you ovulate at different times during the month. I had a vaginal ultrasound, I don’t know if that makes any difference. The clinic I went to said if it was a tummy ultrasound they wouldn’t see / hear anything at that stage. Wishing you all the best 💜 x
When I went for my first transvaginal to confirm pregnancy I was 8 weeks and I could see the heartbeat on the screen. They even gave me a due date which was later confirmed again at my 12 week scan. That’s in the uk idk how it works in the us. Did they say anything at all or booked u for a 12 week scan?
My flo app was off by a week. I was told it just meant my ovulation schedule was a little off than the average time frame. As in its normal for me but didn’t line up with the app. I ovulated a week later so my date got pushed back a week later.
I didn’t hear a heart beat. My Flo was off by 2 weeks! I thought I was 8 weeks but I was actually 6. If all you’re seeing is a gestational sac it could be still early
Love I’m praying for a positive outcome 💗 sometimes the heartbeat cannot be heard and they try again at 12 weeks.
It’s possible it’s to early. You may have ovulated later than the app says. The app is just an estimate. It’s also difficult for them to pin down when the fetus is so small. Wait a couple weeks and get another one.
Only you know the answer. What does your momma intuition say???
Did they say what they saw on scan? And how big the baby was? X
There’s other factors to consider, such as size and if a sac and pole were seen. You don’t usually hear the heartbeat at this stage, it’s only visible. Did you have a transvaginal or abdominal ultrasound? What did they say to you?
I saw my baby's heartbeat at 5 weeks but could be to early. Every pregnancy is different. Sending love and baby dust 💕
We didn’t listen to my baby’s heart till 12 -13 weeks . But you should have been able to see the heart pumping on the screen it’s like a little flicker. Did you see that? I wouldn’t worry if they didn’t worry. They can’t listen to it too soon. And you can’t hear a heartbeat with the ultrasound , it’s a different instrument that is used
@Shannon I had the same experience. Told to prepare for a miscarriage and to come back in a few weeks to check again and discuss miscarriage management. She is now a healthy 11 month old girl ❤️
I’ve heard ppl say you can be too early to hear anything but I could be wrong. Praying for a good outcome❤️
