Maybe a stupid question?? lol

Do you get a NIPT test for each pregnancy?? Or is it only necessary one time??

The result would only be accurate for your current pregnancy, you’d need another one for future pregnancies as the results could vary massively x

You get one for each pregnancy as far as I know.

I’m still growing baby #1 but I personally would. Because I came out fine, my mom didn’t bother to test my younger brother after me. My brother came out with Down syndrome.

Thank you, guys!!

Each

Yes. Each pregnancy. It's looking at the DNA of the baby of that pregnancy, so it would only give you the gender and genetic disorder risk of that one specific baby.

Yup I agree with everyone NIPT for each pregnancy, however, the carrier test can be done once if all of your results came back negative. Unless there is a different partner and you tested positive for something, you don’t need to repeat that specific test again. Your provider usually ask if you want a carrier test along with the NIPT test.

I got them with all pregnancies but they can't force you to get them
