Ring triage if you are worried that's what they're there for xx
Have some sweets , lay down on your right side and play some music , this will stimulate them to have more kicks
A lot of babies slow down on movement around this time because they’re running out of space or fluid. It’s completely Normal. As long as you feel them through the day, it’ll be fine. If they stop completely, especially longer then 24 hours, I’d talk to the doctor
Thank you ladies
Girl, same! I'm almost 27 weeks and my baby's kicks have felt the same in strength since 22 weeks aha I get SO worried. Sometimes I don't feel him at all for several hours. It FREAKS me out! And not to mention I haven't seen my Dr since 19 weeks... so I feel like I have no one to go to lol and I don't want to be a bother at labor and delivery!
@Sofia Callaci omg yeah! Literally feels like several hours sometimes when I don’t feel him and I don’t wanna bother anyone either lol and even if I did they’d probably tell me to count kicks (that I’m not feeling) or to come into ER which costs tooooo much! I do have a Doppler though so that does ease my anxiety a bit!
Yes, I also have an anterior placenta too 😣 it’s so stressful
I’ve worried too, but my doctor told me on Tuesday that as baby gets bigger they’re gonna move less and that’s normal. She said once a day at the same time each day drink a glass of something cold, lie down, and use a timer to see how long it takes to get to 10 movements (not just kicks). As long as it’s not WAY off baby is fine.
@Sofia Callaci 28 weeks starts the biweekly visits so you’ll soon be seeing doctor quite often.
@Shannon I hope so! Because I've felt so neglected by my ob this whole pregnancy. With limited resources. The only option they gave me is to go straight to labor and delivery if I'm worried about anything... but I feel like that's an over kill. Sometimes I just have a simple question... aha
Ask long as I feel Him move multiple times a day I don’t freak out. Babies sleep like 90/95% of the time in the womb and I’m suppose to catch every time they wake up ? I have a toddler and a full time job - my sanity can’t focus on trying to catch every moment.
