Pattern of movement

Im 25 weeks now and baby still doesn't seem to have a pattern of movement. Is anyone else still having random movements instead of a pattern?

Yes I’m the same

I'm 27 weeks and still no pattern 🤣

Yes 26 weeks no pattern yet

26 and still no pattern, she just moves when she wants x

26 weeks and no pattern

Is it normal to have quiet days? Today she's not moved that much. I've felt he remove about and turn over and kick just not really strong and loads like she did for a few days before

27 and no pattern other than being super active between 6-8am and then usually a bunch more at around 10pm. random in between though

Yeh I’m the same

@philomena yes it's normal to have quieter days as long as you feel them a few times I was told. No pattern begins til 28 weeks

26 weeks tomorrow and his movement deffo changes each day, some days hes quiet all day until the evening and some days i feel him in the morning and less in the evening! im content enough as long as i feel him even if the times aren't completely consistent 🩵

Im 25 weeks and he was really active until last week (i went and got a check up as i was worried) and his heart beat was strong and everything was fine. His pattern has deff changed, it was literally all day and now its a few kicks randomly. I hate it i wish i could feel him more but my midwife did say it will change till about 28 weeks

Baby won’t START to develop a pattern until at least 27-28 weeks, which is the week they develop a REM cycle so it makes plenty of sense and is completely normal at the stage most of you mommas are in. i’m currently 37+2 and in the last month i’ve really been able to notice his patterns - each week a bit more developed of course. i wouldn’t worry as long as you are still feeling sporadic movements. also baby is still teeny tiny, they can face your back and kick and you won’t be able to really feel yet, and there will be days when you barely feel them move at all, and some days you can’t even focus due to them wiggling lmao. of course if you have any concerns or questions reach out to midwife/ob but still completely normal at this stage :)

I’m exactly the same. Can I ask, are there days when any of you don’t feel baby at all? I have a busy job and I literally only feel little one at the weekend when I’ve had a chance to sit down 🤣

Reading this has really reassured me thanks. I began to worry this morning as I've mainly felt rolling but only a handful of kicks xx

@Sophie yeah ill go a whole day and think I've not felt him, maybe a few kicks here and there. Like ive felt him this morning and only once more since!

@Sophie I don’t notice much when I’m at work either .. just sometimes. But mainly in the evenings after I ate and I watch some telly .. or early mornings (6am) 😂

I’m 25 weeks and still think it’s quite sporadic, I’m feeling him more and more and stronger and stronger so I think he’s still doing well even if he moves randomly, I felt him at work for the first time yesterday so that was quite exciting as I normally only feel him when I’m lying down 😅

I asked my midwife about this - she said they don’t really settle into a pattern until about 30 weeks, from 24-30 all they look for is some movement so not to worry if there’s no pattern but if you’re ever worried to ring your midwife/triage x
