Cyclizine on an empty stomach?
Can you take Cyclizine on an empty stomach? I’ve been sick first thing in the morning, sometimes multiple times, for the last 3 weeks. I’ve been prescribed prochlorperazine but you can only take it after food so it stops me being sick the rest of the day (although still really nauseous) but I need something that I can have as soon as I open my eyes. Would cyclizine work?

I’ve taken it first thing I no the morning before but still been sick after so not sure if it helped or not, at the moment I’m just waiting and taking it with my breakfast but it usually means me throwing up first which isn’t great!
@Ellie hmm okay, I guess it depends how sensitive your stomach is. I have a feeling it’ll come straight back up for me too but I’ll give it a go and see 🤞🏼
I’ve been diagnosed with HG and I’ve had all 3 types of anti sickness that are considered safe to take during pregnancy and they haven’t done anything for me best thing to do is make sure you keep hydrated as much as being sick and the sick feeling is horrible you will be fine so long as you keep hydrated.

I take Cyclizine first thing in the morning, before eating something - helps with those first few minutes before I get a dry cracker or something x
