No i didn’t, they induced me at 39 weeks, xx

I had GD in my first pregnancy. I needed insulin because diet alone wasn’t helping it. I was able to get my numbers under control with the insulin and had an induction at 40+1. I had a vaginal delivery.

I was never tested for GD, but I was induced at 41+4, and my son was 4.7 kg at birth. No c-section, but I definitely had an epidural. I’m pregnant again, and needless to say, they’re watching things a lot more closely this time.

@Sally was your labour longer after being induced?

@Kim was your labour longer after being induced?

@Emma was your labour longer after being induced?

It was 14 hours from when they put pessary in. It was my longest labour , and it hurt more. Was my 6th labour xx

Nope , I been induced 2 times and both were vaginal births

No , induced twice and both vaginal births x

Induced at 39 weeks due to GD and ended up having an emergency c-section.

@Deepa I went in around 330pm in the afternoon and started taking a pill to soften my cervix. Around 730am the next morning I started Pitocin. I got an epidural around 7cm dilated. My daughter was born around 6:00pm the same day. I wasn’t dilated at all when we started the pitocin.

No I didn't, had induction planned for 38 weeks but was induced at 37+3 for other unrelated reasons and had vaginal delivery with no additional assistance. I used the epidural as pain relief.

I had 2 vaginal with both GD pregnancies.

I was tested twice for GD due to scans revealing a big baby around 95th percentile but was negative both times. However, had to have a sweep and induction and emergency C-section as the labour didn't progress. The baby was 4.5 kg and stuck in pelvis but otherwise very well

I was induced on 30th September due to GD and had an emergency c section on 3rd October as it failed to work.

I had GD and my induction didn’t lead to a c-section. I actually had a fairly quick labour to be honest.

Induced at 40 weeks although I was already in very early stages of labour upon arrival they went ahead and continued with the induction process. 2 days later I had to have an emergency c because labour completely stopped and I had developed sepsis. I still think there was just too much fiddling, so this time have asked for a planned c, rather than have another induction.
