Private rooms
I’m due to give birth any day now, does anyone know if we can pay for a private room for after birth recovery?
I’m planning at going to Hinchingbrooke and haven’t had a tour, so not sure if they offer private suites to recover in?

It must have changed from when I had my son 6 years ago - as I had a private room. They were so lovely and wanted to give me privacy (I had had cancer and was trying to feed with on boob). I was so well looked after.
@Rachael I gave birth at the weekend and definitely no private rooms. Just wards with 5 beds on them x
