HRT bleeding
Hi! I started on HRT in July—estradiol patch+progesterone pill. Yesterday, I had a tummy ache like I used to when I had my period and today I’m bleeding like I did when I had a regular period. I know this not totally uncommon but wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this and what the outcome was.
Hello 👋 If you're postmenopausal you need to check in with your doctor - bleeds on HRT are common in the initial 6 months, but please do contact your doctor and have a discussion about this bleed if you're already postmenopausal 🧡
