what do doulas do? i've always heard of them but never met one?

Hi 👋 such a great idea ❤️🙏 always wanted a doula ir doula friend 😆❤️, but all my pregnancies a high risk 🙊🙉

@Lina I also support ‘high risk’ pregnancies in hospital too. Having someone by your side that has worked with you through pregnancy can feel really comforting ❤️

@Shakira A doula is a non medical birth supporter. We advocate for you, protect your birth space and make sure you have all the knowledge you need to be able to make informed choices. Many of us have studied biomechanics for birth and massage techniques to help you during labour. Then if it’s a home birth we clean up and support you and your partner (if you have one) to get started with feeding and get you cosied up in bed. ❤️
