Ask your pediatrician! I hear not until at least 12 months.... My formula just went up 10% 😒
@Kyrah That’s RIDICULOUS how it’s gotten so expensive!! I rather give my daughter regular cow milk and use my food stamps to buy that!
you have to give formula to 12 months.
@Brandy like we’re still in a shortage and you wanna raise the prices!?
After they turn 1. They can’t properly digest the cows milk until after a year.
They can't properly digest cow's milk until 1 unfortunately. It's safest to continue formula until then
The majority of an infant's nutrition comes from formula or breast milk for the first year, the first 12 months of their life. I have a friend that switched their little one-off of formula. Because they no longer could she turned out fine but I would One hundred percent fully recommend contacting your pediatrician and asking the pediatrician because of your child specific health needs.
During Covid when it was a shortage the government was saying it’s okay to give baby cow milk at 6 months. Now that formula is back they say wait until 12 months. I can’t with the scams.
@Bianca that’s what I’m saying!!
Giving cows milk too early can cause an iron deficiency as well just heads up
So definitely ask the pediatrician first
My pediatrician said no cows milk until 1 year old
Here’s an science-based article I found. It does seem other countries introduce cows milk earlier. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2791650/
My friend switched at 10 months. I breastfeed and want to introduce cow’s milk at 12 months

My son’s pediatrician said we could start trying a little after 11 months, so when we have the 1 year visit we can talk about how it’s going and any struggles.
Formula here is raised to $14 a bottle and I’m wondering the same. 🥲
