Weaning back onto aptamil after SMA Althera (allergy milk)

HV advises us to try wean our baby back on to aptamil after 6 weeks on althera. Due to suspected CMPA. On allergy milk, he had very bad green diahhrrea all the time. We are on day 3 of reintroducing aptamil slowly into his bottles and he now has stringy mucus in his nappy again (one of the reasons doctors think CMPA) However he isn’t screaming after his bottles, No rashes or excessive vomitting like previously. However HV said if ANY symptoms happen to re start althera. However his poo seems healthier than the althera poos? Does anyone have any advice? I have no idea what to do…

i feel like that's normal my girl always has poo like that🤷🏼‍♀️😂

@Sasha I thought it was normal but my boy had it 24/7 multiple times a day and he was also screaming crying after every bottle along with Vomitting badly. That was why we were trialled CMPA milk. But now he’s only got the string poo and no other symptoms now, so I don’t know if I should stay on aptamil or go back to althera 😫😫😫xx

CMPA poops are very wet and green it’s normal doesn’t mean it’s unhealthy they also stink!

@Em my boys poops were like that on althera?x

@Shannon yeah mines been like that on all CMPA allergy milks ( I have trialled 5 as it’s not one size fits all for this type of formula )

@Em just the HV was saying his poops shouldn’t still be green when he’s on allergy milk x

@Shannon i wouldn't keep changing it, my health visitor told me not to keep changing it as that could upset her tummy x
