22 weeks pregnant and really sore when sitting on toilet

Hi - this is really strange but I am worried. This is my second pregnancy, and when I gave birth to my daughter, I had an episiotomy and had a first degree tear. Ever since I’ve fallen pregnant with my second, every time I sit on the toilet, everything down there feels really sore like it’s pulling, especially where my tear was. I know everything swells up during pregnancy, but it’s just really uncomfortable. Any advice??

I can’t speak for you for sure but I only had a tiny tear, but how soon after your daughter was born did you get pregnant? Also maybe your baby will just be big? My daughter was causing me a lot of pain in ways I didn’t even know were possible from early on. Things people told me I shouldn’t have to worry about till later. She ended up being 9lbs. Lol

She was around 13/14 months when I fell pregnant again. She’s nearly 18 months now! @Mary I hope I don’t have a big baby 😂😂 my first was only 6 lb 5

Then that definitely sounds like a decent amount of time inbetween. Aww my girl just turned 18 months!!😊. Haha I hope for your sake you don’t either, just a thought since it’s what happened to me. I feel like it worked for me though cause I was so scared to have a baby already. Having my big ass baby made it a bit easier. I definitely wouldn’t know what to do with a 6lber!! Lol

As for advice maybe started lining yourself with the cooling pads like after birth? Might help with the soreness!
