Pregnancy dreams

Is anyone else having those vivid dreams and they are more just horrible nightmares? I’m 19 weeks and I can’t get any sleep because of it. I sleep for an hour or two before I wake up drenched in sweat with a massive panic attack. I have no clue what to do anymore.

Oh my days yes! Truthfully I didn’t say to my midwife about it and I’ve just went along with them, probably not much they can do and definitely has to be the hormones rushing through.. not sure if it will help you or not but what I’ve done after I’ve had one and woke up is watched something funny on my phone for a bit until I calmed down a bit and started to feel sleepy again and thankfully it’s worked for me

@Niamh I’ve been playing mindless games on my phone. It’s just insane

Absolutely 🙈 it happened all the time the second I was worried about something during the day when I tried to nap or sleep that worry turned into such a vivid nightmare of exactly what I was worried about in the absolutely worst scenario 🙈 they say it's normal but gosh should they find something to help deal with them like a sleep tea or something 🙈

Yess!!! I had the worst nightmares while I was pregnant. Never had nightmares so vivid and consistently horrible for such long periods of time.

Yes and they're so detailed and run for long spans of time, like I've lived years in one nights sleep. Mine are not all nightmares, some are and others are just insanely vivid dreams that I can't always put into words when I wake.

Yes!! Before pregnancy I barely remembered my dreams, but now they’re so vivid and I’m having awful nightmares

Is happening to me now. I'm 32 weeks and can't sleep well. Some dreams are just awful then I woke up and I can literally hear my heart beat racing like crazyyyyy... 😫

Yesss. I’ve been dreaming about my BD & I’m counting those as nightmares 😭😭
