@Morgan do you think it will work for super aggressive breakouts cause it’s literally all over my face and I got bad rosacea on top of it all 😭
I use a benzoyl peroxide face wash— a daily use with only 4%. Then Niacinamide & Azelaic Acid. They have really helped with my breakouts. All safe for pregnancy!
I will be trying both of these tonight
@Jennifer it probably won't hurt, but it may not be as significant as you're looking for. Witch hazel can be pretty drying too, so keep that in mind
Heard that I do have a moisturizer from when I wasn’t pregnant so I’ll use that after
I’ve been using snail mucin
Get your dermatologist to give your clydamyacin and azaelic acid, also use the of patches they’ve helped me a lot when one pops up
Acne my whole life and right when I got pregnant my derm switched me to azaelic acid which has helped. Although I’d say weeks 6-14 in the pregnancy were a lost cause with acne. Probably bc I was switching medications and hormones are extra crazy. Now my acne is totally manageable and I pair the azaelic acid with the Elemis dynamic resurfacing wipes (use at night after face wash before azaelic acid and moisturizer)
i got prescribed Clindamycin Phosphate Topical Solutions & i also take warm epson salt & hydrogen peroxide baths for about 45mins just soaking my face & it helps the acne dry up . i have a horrible lupus rash that flares often while pregnant due to not being able to take certain meds so this has helped me sm with my sensitive skin .
My aesthetician recommended using witch hazel as an astringent when I'm getting breakouts. But there really aren't a lot of options, I feel you on this one
