@Alivia Okay, good to know! Did you have an epidural or go unmedicated? And were you visited by or offered a lactation consultant? I plan to schedule a visit soon bc I can’t find much online!

I made it to 9cm unmedicated before I caved. I was in labor for 12 hours at that point so I gave up lol. The epidural was smooth and easy, great doctor did it. I was told they would send the LC, but they never showed up. Everyone was in and out for birth cert info, to check baby, and do vitals and that was really all the interaction I got. Def go visit.

I did 6 weeks ago. The staff in the actual birthing ward were great and supportive and helpful, but I barely saw the nurses in the recovery wing. One nurse overnight was amazing, but literally no one checks on you after birth except for vitals at the beginning and end of the shifts or you call for them to come help you.
