Braxton Hicks without feeling Contractions?

I think I’m just in my head. I went to the OB and she said my stomach is hard & asked if it always is. I told her i never really noticed and wasn’t sure. And she said it’s probably just Braxton Hicks. But I always thought like you feel the fake contractions. What does it mean when your stomach is just hard with no other different feeling? It’s going between hard & soft I guess. I noticed it again today in the shower that my stomach was hard& it’s freaking me out. It seems to be soft now. Baby is moving plenty and doing great. I’m nearly 36 weeks. Just really having some anxiety that I’ll go into early labor and not know.

Mine does that too it’s Braxton hicks, but sometimes it’s a little tight and crampy and sometimes it’s just hard with no discomfort.

Hard but no cramps or pain is Braxton hicks. They’re inconsistent. Hard with cramps, pain, discomfort, and increasing consistency are contractions.

Braxton hicks is literally just your stomach tightening and getting hard then releasing.. just happens randomly on and off Real contractions are period like crsmping consistently and that get worse with time That’s how my ob described it.

It's Braxton Hicks. I was in today tof a Non stress test on baby (standard for older moms). I was hooked up to monitors and they could see the "contractions" and it was when my belly felt harder. I mentioned that I never feel discomfort, but have noticed the harder stomach - only if I'm palpitating to try and find baby though

The first time I knew I had Braxton Hicks I was at my doctor and she was feeling my stomach to see the baby's position. It's happened a couple of times now where I don't really know it's happening and the doctor pointed it out
