I have PGP and told my midwife the pain is getting more intolerable, they do suggest the support belt but it didn’t have any effect on me, my midwife referred me to physio and the physio given me crutches for how severe it is for me, it helped relieve the pain
I've been having the same as you . Currently 39 W today . I ve lost a bit of the mucus plug on Monday, and then on Tuesday, I ve lost the rest and am still losing 😅.Same pain, quite severe contractions, my midwife is happy with the process she said that can happen any day kow . How many weeks are you ? Just make sure that you have everything ready just in case . xx
@sara I am in the same situation as you. Has the physio suggested you any sort of therapy or exercises that might help with PGP?
@Adelina yeah she given me this booklet of exercises I can do at home as I’ve already got my exercise ball to ease on my joints, and been offered to join the hospital classes every Tuesday
@sara oh that’s great, I’ve asked them for exercises recommendations but they gave me nothing.
@Adelina that’s abit sus, they need to provide their duty of care, if not look on YouTube for the pgp exercises with the ball, I don’t attend the class I do it at home when I can 😂 truthfully I don’t do it religiously because I’m shattered most of the time
Baby will be getting into position ready for birth. I had this from 37 weeks but still went to 40+3 xx
