Fluid in uterus

Bit upset as my FET cycle got cancelled due to fluid in the uterus. They didn’t seemed concerned just a bit deflated as have to have a bleed and start again. I’d rather it be perfect home for embryo. Anybody had this happen?

I get fluid in my uterus every month, but they have always transferred for me. I haven't had an issue with the embryos implanting.

My transfer cycle got canceled twice due to fluid in uterus which was probably coz I had caught covid but for the third cycle even with the fluid, we went ahead and now I have a 16 month old so guess it’s pretty common.

Thanks so much for the stories. I’m going to try natural ways to have a heavier period to make sure all blood comes out of uterus. Deepika did you do anything specific to get rid of fluid?

@Lauren not that I remember anything specific but I did follow a few things for the FET, like acupuncture and also warm castor oil packs leading up to the ovulation, not sure if they helped but that’s all I did.

I had fluid in my uterus the last two transfers I recently did. I didn't have this before when doing IVF for my now 4yro & 3yro. My clinic said it can be spontaneous and go away with ovulation. Not sure how they assume it goes way as they didn't do another ultrasound after ovulation. Both my last two transfers did not work so but my doctor didn't feel it had any correlation 🤷‍♀️
