C-section incision type impacting future birthing options
Does anyone else have a “mid transverse C-section incision”? (Essentially a low transverse incision on uterus but slightly higher) 😩 I’m trying to do more research and get second opinions in hopes of having a vbac for my next pregnancy but am not having a lot of luck. I’m trying not to feel discouraged but am after I saw that my previous birth medical report recommends against vaginal birth in the future even though my incision only increases my risk of a uterine rupture by .1% 😥 This note has impacted my consultations with other Labs & Midwives. I haven’t reached out to many birthing practitioners yet because I’m feeling so sad after the first two gave me “you’d have to be a C-section birth again” and “I can’t work with you” as the responses. If I have to be a C-section birth again, I understand, but I at least wanted to be a TOLAC.
I don't know much but get more opinions. Maybe they are not experienced and said no. It's probably possible for you to do a vbac.
