Would you be pissed
So I had a name for my baby only name I have had for like forever even before I was pregnant anyway before my pregnancy me and my cousin got on well but his part of the family and my part had some issues so we don’t talk as they are always causing drama I found out him and his girlfriend fell pregnant just before I did they’ve had there baby and have named there baby the same I was going to call my baby I’m still pregnant and have no names as I was so set on this name I don’t know what to do (also thought that I had chosen a unique name)

I would find a different name personally :D I like unique names too, names that I don't know anyone in my family or friends have. But I'm sitting here due in few days with no name for my baby :( lol hoping it clicks once she's here :)
I think there are hundred of thousands of peoples with the names we pick anyway, and it doesn’t make less special. Pick what ia important to you. Who cares they have the same name , whatever is special for you is what matters just like they did for them without even thinking of how you would feel! 😘
What was the name maybe I can help find something similar but not the same. But if you set on the name just use it.

It feels like, if you really don't talk anymore, it doesn't really matter if they have the same name... My mum's sister chose my mums name for her daughter twenty years ago simply because she liked the name, a little bit weird, but it all depends on how often you see each other I think! They don't meet often at all, so it has not been a subject as much as you would think. If the name is that special to you, I would still name your child that. Now if you really can't let go of the association then there might be no other solution than to find a new name, perhaps something similar? Good luck!
